Delete Komoot Account: Komoot was founded in 2014 by six friends living in Berlin. It was founded by those who thought it was a good idea to have an app that would allow people to explore the great outdoors more easily and find hiking and biking trails everywhere.
Komoot is a route planning platform for backpackers, cyclists, hikers and mountain bikers. You can use it to find new routes, plan, explore, and navigate a selected route.
Komoot is available on both mobile and desktop.
How does Komoot work?
• Browse available tours under “Explore” for routes created by users and the Komoot team. You can find specific routes for different sports branches and edit them in your profile after saving.
• Create your own excursions called “Tours” by selecting your preferred route (s), altitude, surface condition and other technical aspects of the route. The “Highlights” function also allows you to add different attractions and stops, which will provide you with various suggestions and tips to make your tour even more enjoyable. The website offers more functions for creating tours than the Komoot app.
• Use a map or voice guidance for turn-by-turn navigation. With the paid membership, you can also access maps offline.
• Create a record of your tours, share your experiences and connect with the Komoot user community.

How do I share the route in Komoot?
If you want to share a planned route, just click on “Invite” and share it with a friend you follow on Komoot. If your friend isn’t using Komoot, you’ll need to download the route as a GPX file and share it. It is also possible to share the routes on websites and social media platforms.
Delete Komoot Account
The Komoot account cannot be deleted in the mobile app. But it will be deleted from the website. Your account will be permanently deleted by komoot. This action is irreversible and your data cannot be recovered once it has been deleted.
To delete the Komoot account, log into the website and click on the link https://www.komoot.com/account/details
On the opened page, scroll down and
Follow the steps “Delete account> Enter user name> Delete”
Your Komoot account has been deleted.
