Cancel Coursera Subscriptions

To stop or change email reception from Coursera, follow the steps below

“Profile> Settings> Communication Preferences”

Make your selection and click the “Save” button.

If you want to stop receiving emails from Coursera, you can change your email settings.

Important: Deleting your account doesn’t stop payments. Make sure to cancel all active subscriptions in your account before deleting.

Coursera offers two types of subscriptions, Specialization and Coursera Plus.

Specialization Automatic Cancellation:

When you subscribe to a Specialization, your payments will automatically end when you have completed all courses in that Specialization.

If the Capstone Project for Specialization course is accessible only after finishing all courses in a Specialization, you will continue to access it for 180 days after your automatic cancellation.

If the Final Project course does not restrict access upon completion, you will lose access to it when your subscription is automatically canceled.

You can also manually cancel a Specialization subscription at any time.

Canceling your specialty subscription will not refund any past payments, but will stop all future payments.

After canceling, you will not be able to access paid course material (including graded assignments) in that Specialization. All Certificates you earn while subscribing will remain with you. If you re-subscribe or pay for the specialization, your work on unfinished courses will reappear.

Cancel Specialist Subscription on Computer:

Sign in to your Coursera account and follow the steps.

“My Purchases> Manage Subscriptions> Click” Cancel “next to the subscription you want to cancel.

Cancel The Specialty Subscription In The Mobile App:

Log in to your Coursera mobile app and follow the steps.
Tap Gear (settings)> My Subscriptions> “Manage Subscription” next to the subscription you want to cancel. Tap> Cancel subscription.

Cancel The Coursera Plus Subscription:

When you cancel your Coursera Plus subscription, you will have paid access to the Coursera Plus catalog until the end of the billing period. When your subscription expires, the courses you subscribed to disappear from your My Courses page.

All Certificates you earn while subscribing will remain with you. Your work on unfinished courses will reappear if you subscribe again and re-enroll in that course.

Canceling your Coursera Plus subscription after two weeks will not refund past payments, but will stop all future payments.

To Cancel Your Coursera Plus Subscription:

Sign in to your Coursera account and follow the steps.

Click on “My Purchases> Manage Subscriptions> the subscription you want to cancel, then click Cancel subscription”.

How To Delete Coursera Account

If you delete your account, your personal information will be deleted from Coursera’s servers, all your course activity will be anonymized, and all earned certificates will be deleted. This action cannot be undone. To use Coursera again, you will need to create a new account.

To delete Coursera account, log in to your account from the computer
– Click your name in the top right to open the drop-down menu.
– Settings
– Go to the bottom of the page and click “Delete Account“.

Fill in the boxes, enter your password and click the “Delete Account” button.

If you are logging in to the Coursera app with facebook or google, follow the instructions below.

Remove Facebook App Permissions:

– Click the menu in the upper right corner of Facebook.

– Select Settings and Privacy, then click “Settings”.

– Click Apps and Websites from the left menu.

– Click on the box next to the apps or games you want to uninstall.
Click on Uninstall.

– After uninstalling the app or game, the app or game cannot share in your timeline. If you keep seeing an old post, you can remove the post.

Remove Google Mail App Permissions:

– Sign in to your Gmail account and click https://myaccount.google.com/u/3/permissions

– Select the application or service you want to uninstall.

– Select Remove Access.
