How Do I Delete My Outlook Account
Your account becomes unrecoverable 60 days after it is closed. After 60 days, you will lose access to services that use the account for login.
To delete your Outlook account, first sign in to your Outlook account.
Click on the link https://account.live.com/closeaccount.aspx or copy and paste it into your browser’s address bar. Pass the screen that will appear by pressing the forward button.
Before you mark your account for closure, you should review and select the checkboxes below to confirm that you have reviewed the most common account closure effects.
After checking all the options, indicate the reason for closing your outlook account and confirm.
After the 60-day waiting period, your Outlook account is marked for closure, but it still exists.
To reopen the account, you must prove your identity using your current account security information.
The account becomes unrecoverable and cannot be reopened 60 days after being closed.
Note on Skype Accounts
If you are using Skype over the Outlook account you want to delete and you want to continue using it, it should be noted that you cannot log in to Skype on the same account after deleting your account.
