The overall process is simple and can be done via the Instacart app or website without having to call a customer service representative.
When using Instacart, you can easily cancel an order directly on the website by following these steps:
1. Go to Instacart site in your browser and login to your account.
2. Click on Your Orders.
3. Go to View Order Details and search for the order you want to cancel.
4. Click Cancel Order Now.
5. Confirm the cancellation and your order will be cancelled.

Note: You will receive your refund to your linked bank account. You can check your email account to confirm that your account has been deleted. Account deletion takes approximately 72 hours after informing the company.
